IT Manager- Nassau

Job Summary

  • Function as the lead for Aetos’ NCR POS systems; responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and training. During office hours he is required to be present at the HQ unless performing work on site.
  • Provide prompt service during early morning hours (before 8:00am) and after hours for 911/store down emergencies, every day of the week that stores are open.
  • Respond promptly to relevant tickets in the Aetos IT help desk, complete the necessary tasks and close tickets with a description of the work done to resolve the issue. Instruct managers and staff who bypass the help desk by calling/emailing/messaging IT Manager directly to submit a ticket to the IT help desk. No service will be provided without a corresponding ticket. This applies to even 911/store down emergencies. If IT Manager creates the ticket in the help desk, he/she is to properly attribute it to the relevant manager or store i.e., the ticket should not show IT Manager as the reporter of the ticket.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Documentation and communication with leadership are important.
  • Ensure that IT Director is copied in ALL email correspondence with NCR. Document all out-of-email communication with NCR (phone, Pulse help desk, etc.) and submit in a written report within 72 hours of communications. No exceptions.
  • A daily detail work log is required for all Freeport on-island projects. Work log should include brief description of work and hours applied to each major project item. Submit daily updates via email to IT Director while in Freeport. These may be submitted on the following day.
  • Notify IT Director by email of all access changes (e.g., adding a new SM, moving a manager to another store, etc.) made in Aloha Enterprise, CFC, CMC and Back Office
  • When resolving Help Desk tickets, put a detail description of work done to resolve the issue so that other IT personnel may attempt to perform the same resolution for future instances of the issue.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of _____________

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Consistency regardless of project size
  • Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
  • May be required to work extended hours / weekends and holidays (per legal guidelines)

  • Be knowledgeable with all aspects of the Employee Handbook and Standard Operating procedures
  • Ensure a proper line of communication with direct report.
