The Inventory Clerk ensures accurate tracking, counting, and organization of all parts, tools, and materials within the warehouse. This role supports the Repairs & Maintenance and Construction teams by maintaining reliable stock levels, preventing shortages, and ensuring all inventory information is updated and precise.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Record, update, and reconcile inventory data within warehouse or ERP systems.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
- Organize shelves, bins, and storage areas for easy access and proper labeling.
- Prepare items for technician pickup or transfer to job sites by ensuring correct quantities.
- Track serialized equipment, high-value items, and tools to prevent loss or misuse.
- Work closely with Receiving and Procurement teams to ensure all inventory records remain accurate.
- Support development projects by pulling materials and verifying availability.
- Identify opportunities to improve storage efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and numerical accuracy.
- Understanding of inventory software or ERP systems (preferred).
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds and manage physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
