Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY:

Make deliveries to our various restaurant locations, HQ and other work sites while adhering to all warehouse regulations and safety procedures. Load inventory on truck and unload at various location. Operate trucks to pick up and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to and from, supplier and work sites.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License on hand daily
  • Must wear proper gear to work daily
  • Load and/or assist with loading your trucks for deliveries
  • Ensure that you are present when pallets and jacks are loaded into your truck; also ensure that such items are placed securely inside your truck
  • Turn on the refrigeration unit found within your truck:
  • Document temperatures in log sheet (When leaving for first run & upon arrival at each destination)
  • Drive with caution using ONLY pre-determined routes to and from the stores (Main thoroughfares)
  • Top-Up fuel levels regularly. (Regular fueling days are scheduled; however, if gas tank reads 1/3 of below, notify management and refuel same day
  • Interact with store management to verify any and all discrepancies with their order (for each run/delivery)
  • Give all invoices to your Manager at the end of shift
  • Ensuring that all invoices are signed by store managers during deliveries (signature must be present prior to submitting to your Manager)
  • Ensure that back cabinets of trucks are cleaned after final delivery
  • Conduct general cleaning to the exterior and interior of your assigned vehicle after last delivery on Saturdays
  • Ensure safe transportation of goods and materials to various locations
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance of the vehicle
  • Assist with any other Warehouse task(s) as assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to drive and operate large vehicles
  • Must be well-groomed at all times
